Holidays

Auto Safari Chapin stays open during Guatemala's official holidays, and also during El Salvador's official holidays. Guatemala's official holidays are:

• New Years - January 1st
• Holy Week - (variable)
• Labor day- May 1st
• Army Day - June 30th
• Virgen de la Asunción (Guatemala city only) - August 15th
• Independence Day - September 15th
• Revolution Day- October 20th
• All Saints Day - November 1st
• Christmas Eve - Until noon - December 24th
• Christmas - December 25th
• New Years Eve - Until noon - December 31st.

If any of these holidays falls on a Monday, it is probable that the park will open. Check our calendar above to see if we open on the specific day you plan to visit.
